'Avengers: Age of Ultron' Casting Rumors, News: 2 Additional Characters to Appear in Film
News surrounding the upcoming Marvel movie "Avengers: Age of Ultron" seems like never to end as new developments and rumors about the forthcoming film are still coming out.
Hypable reported in their article that there will be "two more (big) names" set to appear in "Avengers 2." Although their exact roles are still a mystery, at least this report can help fans figure out more on what will likely to happen when the title hit the theaters this May 1, 2015.
According to the publication, actor Idris Elba had confirmed, during an interview with The Telegraph, that his "beloved" character, Heimdall, as well as Tom Hiddleston's Loki, had recently shot scenes for "Avengers: Age of Ultron."
"I'm in 'Avengers,'" he said. "And I'm doing a scene with Chris Hemsworth [Thor] and Tom Hidleston [Loki], and they're like, [whispers] – 'Aren't you [meant to be] in Ibiza?'"
The IMDb site of the movie confirms the involvement of the mentioned names. This is despite the fact to what director Joss Whedon already said that Loki won't be making an appearance on the slated movie.
Speculations then arises that perhaps Loki and Heimdall's involvement could happen during a sequence with the supernatural character Scarlet Witch (Elizabeth Olsen), who has been known to have the ability to create visions and alternating realities.
It could be possible that Scarlet will be giving Thor some vision and that's where the two will come in?
But everything so far is just blind speculation.
One thing's for sure though. Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige confirmed Thor's nemesis to appear and will have a major antagonistic role in the third "Thor" film titled "Thor: Ragnarok" and on the two-parter "The Avengers: Infinity War."
