'Awkward' Season 5 Episode 6 Recap: Jenna Confronts Her Exes in Her Dream

Another episode of "Awkward" Season 5 has gone by and of course, it's nothing short of awkward scenes. The sixth episode titled "Don't Dream It's Over" featured how Jenna faced and confronted her exes. Luckily, it was all in a dream or else it would have been way too uncomfortable and not to mention, awkward.

According to Gossip and Gab, it all started when Jenna told Tamara that someone else might be out there for Adam. Tamara then snapped and told her that she (Jenna) is bad at relationships. It seemed like T's words cut like a knife as Jenna couldn't stop thinking about it. Even in her sleep, she was still thinking about it when she dreamt of Tamara, Sadie Saxton and Lissa Miller telling her to confront her exes to figure out if she's bad at relationships or not.

So of course, her exes appeared in the dream starting with Luke, who told her she wasn't all in on their relationship. Next came Owen who said he only slept with her because she depressed after not getting into college, followed by Collin Jennings who revealed that he thinks she only dated him because "he made her feel smart." And last but not the least, Matty, the boy who Jenna has always loved. All of Jenna's exes also told her in the dream that all her relationships have been connected to Matty and how she feels about him.

Until now, the two aren't back in each other's arms yet even though it's blatantly obvious that they are in love with each other. But there's still plenty of episodes left and fans are just waiting for it.

Meanwhile, things are not so good for Tamara in this episode. Entertainment Weekly recapped that her efforts of trying to get Adam back have washed down the drain. Her classic mile-a-minute monologues didn't even work. Adam was just done with her. Luckily for Tamara, Gabby and Jake were there to hug her afterward.

"Awkward" airs every Monday at 9 p.m ET on MTV.
