A private investigator hired to find 11-month-old Lisa Irwin has toured the home where she vanished from in early October on Monday.

The private investigator, former New York Police Officer Bill Stanton, took his first tour of the home since the child disappeared on Oct. 4

Recently, Irwin's parents, Jeremy Irwin and Deborah Bradley, have faced questions regarding the disappearance of their daughter. Bradley changed the timeline she gave authorities on the when she last saw baby Lisa. She also said she was drunk the night Lisa went missing.

Despite these discoveries, Stanton doesn't think the parents were involved in their daughter's disappearance.

Stanton believes that an intruder made their way through the front door and took Lisa Irwin from her crib, according to an NBC News report.

The family has tried to stay away from the media as the story has garnered national attention.

Just last week, an interview between baby Lisa's brothers and police was canceled by the family's attorney.

"That last few weeks have been exhausting to everyone working on behalf of the Irwin family. It has exhausted Lisa's parents and her friends and family," said Attorney Cyndi Short, who later stepped down from the case. "Therefore, the consensus is we all need a rest until next week."

Stanton was hired shortly after baby Lisa went missing and also said the family was going through a difficult time.

“I look in their eyes, and I see pain,’’ Stanton said. “How many tears can you shed 24-7?"

Lisa Irwin went missing from her Missouri home on Oct. 4. Police have searched her entire home, surrounding areas and even a lake in an attempt to track her down.

No suspects have been identified, and police are still approaching her disappearance as a missing person's case and not a murder case.
