Coming into this clash, the circumstances of both teams are extraordinary; where as Baltimore Ravens have the far better record this season at 6-4, they are bottom of the hugely competitive AFC North, where as the 4-6 New Orleans Saints, despite their poor record, sit atop the NFC South.

The AFC North standings are astonishing right now with almost other separating all four teams in the division. The Cincinnati Bengals are top with 7-3-1, where as the Pittsburgh Steelers and Cleveland Browns are tied on 7-4.

The Ravens know that to keep pace with the pack they need to win today, and if they do they would move level with the Steeler and Browns, creating a three way tie for second place, with the Bengals a whisker ahead of the trio.

The Saints though also will see this as a must win game. They are being chased by the Atlanta Falcons who are 4-7. If the Saints lose today they would drop to 4-7 also, and with the Carolina Panthers just marginally behind on 3-7-1, all three teams would still be right in the running for the division title despite all three having had terrible seasons.

Tonight's clash should be interesting, with quarterbacks Joe Flacco and Drew Brees throwing 36 touchdowns between them so far this season. Flacco is 219 of 351 for 2,521 yards and 17 touchdowns, where as Brees is 290 of 417 for 3,071 yards and 19 touchdowns.

Both teams need a win, and both are still right in their in the running for their division titles. This should be an interesting clash.

The game will start at 8.30 p.m. ET and can be watched online through ESPN live stream by clicking here.
