Barcelona Transfer News 2015: Pedro Targeted by 3 Premier League Clubs

The saga between Barcelona and Manchester United with forward Pedro is still ongoing despite talks that the move is imminent.

Pedro has been linked to a move to Old Trafford since early in the summer as he looks for regular first-team football that has not been provided at Camp Nou. The striker has won multiple awards and honours with the Catalans, but being down the pecking order to Lionel Messi, Neymar and Luis Suarez has added to his frustrations.

At present, a United representative is in Spain trying to finalize the deal to sign Pedro.

However, it is still believed that Barcelona have not agreed with the terms as €25 million that United are offering since they claimed that they will not be accepting any figure less than €30 million for their prized forward.

According to Ian Ladyman of Daily Mail, the arrival of a Manchester United executive to wrap up the deal for Pedro has stalled with issues on the price.

"Barcelona are frustrated that £3.6 million of the [Pedro] deal has been offered in add-ons rather than as a full cash amount. United have currently offered £17.8 million in cash with the add-ons but Barcelona want the full £21.4 million up front," Metro U.K. reported.

Barcelona have also cited that United's desire to sign Bayern Munich's Thomas Muller for £56.7 million is so much more than what the English club are ready to spend for Pedro.

However, it still appears that there will be a resolution on the matter soon.

Furthermore, rumors have speculated that Chelsea are entering as another team to try and lure Pedro to join their club after the Premier League champions have experienced a slow start to their season.

Winless in their first two games, Chelsea are looking at Pedro to add more fire power to the club.

Manchester City are also another team trying to sign Pedro, as reported by Bleacher Report's Guillem Balague, saying: "City's offer is €30 million plus €2 million, superior to United's so far. So very much in the equation with United, Chelsea interested but third favourite."
