Barcelona vs Benfica Live Stream Free Football: Watch Online Champions League Soccer (2.45PM ET)

Barcelona vs Benfica is set to take place on Wednesday in the Champions League in a game most would ordinarily expect the Spanish giants to win easily. However, with Barcelona already qualified and with Benfica needing to equal Celtic's result in the other Group G game today, this should make for an intriguing match up. The game is set to kick off at 2.45 p.m. ET and can be watched online through free live stream via the link provided below.

Barcelona are expected to field a weakened team for today's game, giving a number of their core first team players a rest and giving the chance to gain experience to some of their younger players.

However, Barcelona will want to keep in spirit with the competition and should be giving their all in the game to try and get a result.

Not further motivation should be needed for Benfica. They have done fantastically well to get into second position in Group G, and many had expected Celtic to have secured their place in the knock out stages by now after they beat Barcelona earlier in the group's fixtures.

But Benfica and Celtic are currently tied on seven points, but with Benfica set to go through to the knock out stages if they remain on the same points – thanks to their better head to head record against the Scottish champions.

Celtic themselves will be playing against Spartak Moscow and will believe only a win realistically would allow them to advance. The Scots will be hoping to better the result by Benfica, and will be relying on Barcelona to do them a favor a stop Benfica taking all three points – if that happens even a win for Celtic tonight would do nothing for them.

Whoever does end up in third spot in the group will qualify for the Europa League.
