Barcelona and Real Madrid will play in the Spanish Copa Del Rey 2014 Final on Wednesday night, with the two El Clasico teams hoping to claim the title. Especially for Barcelona they might not get another chance this season for silverware, as they were knocked out of the Champions League by Atletico Madrid, and are also lagging behind in the race for La Liga. This will be a game they will be desperate to win to salvage their season.

The game will start at 3.30 p.m. ET and can be watched online through free live stream (details below).

Barcelona have huffed and puffed this season, but coming into the final weeks of the season they will feel they have seriously underperformed this season.

They have been forced to play second-fiddle to unlikely rivals Atletico Madrid on two fronts – Atletico are top of La Liga with just a handful of games to go, and Barca were also knocked out of the Champions League by the same team last week.

This Copa Del Rey final will mean a lot to them this season – more so than it may have done in recent seasons.

However, standing in their way are their old rivals Real Madrid.

The good news for Barcelona is that Real will be missing talisman Cristiano Ronaldo for today's final. Real had been hoping that Ronaldo would recover from his hamstring injury in time for this big cup final, but his manager, Carlo Ancelotti has confirmed that he will miss today's El Clasico game.

That means that new star Gareth Bale must step up and have a big game to lead the team to victory. He has been in good form in recent weeks, scoring regularly. Some of his critics have suggested he has not shown up in some of the team's biggest games, so this is a chance for him to prove his doubters wrong.

Lionel Messi will be hoping to get behind the Real defense and punish them on the score sheet. He has also had an unusual season, which saw him sidelined with an injury for a period.

Today's El Clasico game between Barcelona and Real Madrid will kick off at 3.30 p.m. ET and can be watched online through free live stream by clicking here.
