Barcelona will look to book their place in the final of the Copa del Rey when they meet Villarreal at Camp El Madrigal in the second leg of their semi-final tie.

In their first meeting at Camp Nou, the Catalans dominated the match en route to a 3-1 victory.

Lionel Messi shined by scoring the first goal in the 41st minute, while assisting in Gerard Pique's net in the 64th.

Midfielder Andres Iniesta also supplied a goal for the Spanish heavyweights.

Manuel Trigueros scored a consolation goal for Villarreal, who must look to take advantage of playing at home as they try to erase a big deficit against a difficult opponent.

As expected, Barcelona dominated the possession. They had 74% of the possession, rifling in a total of 15 shots. Villarreal only had four shots on goal.

Furthermore, Barca had 13 corners as compared to two for their opponents. This naturally resulted in more chances which translated to the victory.

Their history of head-to-head matches also favours the Catalans, as they have beaten Villarreal five straight times and have not lost in their last 13 meetings across all competitions.

If there's one thing that may be playing in favour of Villarreal is speculation of inner turmoil in the Barcelona hierarchy, and that could restrict them from playing their usual best.

Reports recently surfaced that Barca coach Luis Enrique has lost control of his team, which was subsequently denied by midfielder Ivan Rakitic.

"[Luis Enrique] is the boss and he knows what is best," the Croatian told Sportske Novosti. "We all believe in him.

"Our success is in the collective act of all for one and one for all."

The game will start at 2 p.m. ET. Visit BBC and Goal.com for live updates and scores, while a live stream of the game can be watched online by clicking here.
