Barnabas International Appoints New Executive Director

Barnabas International announced recently the appointment of its new executive director, Lee Hotchkiss.

Barnabas International, an organization that has served the overseas missions' community for 19 years, announced recently the appointment of its new executive director, Lee Hotchkiss. Hotchkiss, who assumed the position on Jan. 1, 2005, succeeds acting director Lareau Lindquist.

According to Barnabas International, Hotchkiss comes to organization with experience in the pastorate, and in missions personnel development. He has served as a pastor in Evangelical Free churches in Oregon, Illinois, and California, carrying both a Master of Arts in Pastoral Care and Counseling, and a Master of Divinity degree—both given at Trinity Evangelical Divinity School. Hotchkiss also served the Evangelical Alliance Mission as the Director of Pastoral Care and Counseling—in which he was active in member care, leadership training, team building, teaching seminars, and conference speaking.

Hotchkiss and his wife of 37 years served together as missionaries in Bolivia, where their two daughters were born. Three of their five grandchildren are missionary kids whose parents serve as church planters with the Overseas Missionary Fellowship in Japan.
