'Batman: Arkham Knight' DLC News: January DLC Brings Special Bonuses

Rocksteady Studios, the developer behind "Batman: Arkham Knight" is working hard to win back the fans it lost in the past when the game was experiencing various bugs, glitches and problems with frame rate drops. According to a report in Tech Times, this month's downloadable content is also bringing special treats to its fans.

This month's DLC includes the Crime Fighter Challenge Pack #6, which was assembled by Rocksteady after it asked its fans through the "Arkham Knight" online community what content they wanted for the game. The feedback came from the community members themselves, who were asked to identify previous content from the older games in the franchise that they would like to see in "Arkham Knight."

In October last year, Rocksteady wrote its fans: "There will be six new AR Challenges added to the game, and we want your help deciding which locations to use. To decide which maps to feature we're looking for cool stories, fond memories, or your favourite moments from playing these areas in 'Batman: Arkham Asylum' or 'Batman: Arkham City.'"

According to the report, the developer sorted through 800 responses and based on those, they put together the maps from "Arkham Asylum" and "Arkham City" which were selected by fans and included these in the DLC. The maps are said to be completely remastered so that means better graphics and using the game's new fighting system.

As acknowledgement of the fans' inputs, each map features quotes from the fans as to why each map was chosen and what makes it special. PC gamers get the DLC earlier but those who own the game for the consoles are also set to get the DLC soon.

The January update also brings with it a Batman Inc. suit to players.
