'Batman: Arkham Knight' New DLC Includes Playable Batgirl, Iconic Batmobiles, and Challenge Maps
Rocksteady's upcoming action-adventure video game "Batman: Arkham Knight" which is slated to arrive on June 23, is said to conclude the Dark Knight Trilogy. However, the studio is bent on keeping players engrossed into the Batman universe with more stories and challenges as part of the forthcoming Season Pass.
"We'll be building more narrative, more missions, more challenges and more characters and vehicles that we want players to experience, even though they didn't fit into the storyline of Batman: Arkham Knight," the studio's statement reads.
To offer more information as to what the add-on contents would include, here they are:
Batgirl: A Matter of Family -- a prequel story which put players as the Batgirl.
The Season of Infamy -- a content which offers new story arcs, missions and gameplay features
Gotham City Stories -- gamers will play as Batman's "key allies" from both before and after the events of Arkham Knight
Batmobiles – players take the wheel of the most iconic Batmobiles on custom-built race tracks which are themed to a specific Batman era
Crimefighter Challenge Maps – a series of new challenge maps "utilizing the unique play styles of Batman and his allies
Character Skins – a variety of skins featured across the eras for Batman, Robin, Nightwing and Catwoman
More details about the new contents will be provided by Warner Bros and Rocksteady.
To reiterate, "Batman: Arkham Knight" will arrive for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC on June 23, this year. The game, meanwhile, is now open for pre-orders.
