Batman Arkham Knight News, Rumors: New Game Updates Expected to Be Revealed During the VGA

Potential Batman: Arkham Knight development details could be dished out during the 2014 Video Game Awards, according to reports.

Batman fans who are more than eager to learn anything about the 2015 Batman gaming franchise sequel may now get what they wished for as a teaser video for December's inaugural TVGA, Gamespot reported. The teaser will include some "new information about the upcoming game."

The video features Arkham Knight villain Scarecrow appearing on-screen to say that "All that remains is for you to watch," which, as the site said, is in reference to the upcoming awards event.

The 2014 Video Game Awards will be held this coming Dec. 5 in Las Vegas, and will start at 6 p.m.

As for the game, Arkham Knight will be the last installment in the Arkham trilogy and follows the story of Arkham Asylum, which picks up a year after the death of the Joker.

As reported, the remaining major villains – Riddler, Penguin, Harley Quinn, and Two-Face -- will team up with Scarecrow to finally put an end to the Dark Knight. However, there's a catch. Spoilers suggest that the Arkham alums are in fact working for a "militarized version of Batman" who calls himself the "Arkham Knight."

Batman: Arkham Knight is slated to launch in June 2015 for Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC. It was originally targeted to hit the shelves this fall but was pushed back as Rocksteady needs more time to polish the upcoming title.
