Batman Arkham Origins DLC: Cold, Cold Heart Expansion Introduces New Suit in Frozen Gotham City (PICTURE)

Batman's new suit in the Cold, Cold Heart DLC for Arkham Origins was revealed on the game's Twitter.

The Cold, Cold Heart DLC adds more stories to the Batman Arkham Origins games, in which the Caped Crusader has to battle through a frozen Gotham city.

The DLC will be available on April 22 on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC. It will not come to the Wii U due to the lack of demand for the game on the console. According to Gamespot, the expansion pack will focus on the origins of Mr. Freeze and is $10 separately if the gamer does not have the $20 Season's Pass.

Rocksteady Studios is planning to unveil the final installment of their "Batman Arkham" trilogy later this year. The new Batman game is expected to be released on the Microsoft Xbox One and Sony Playstation 4 video game systems.

The game will feature a lot of improvements from the previous Batman games. One of the major innovations of by the gaming company is the inclusion of a playable Batmobile, the most iconic vehicle in DC Comics history.

"That was one of the key factors in designing Gotham City. It needed to be a playground that fulfills that fantasy of driving that iconic vehicle," said Dax Ginn, Brand Marketing Producer for Rocksteady Studios, to Polygon at the GDC event. "(After Arkham City,) we were thinking about, 'Where do we go next? How do we fulfill that ultimate Batman power fantasy?' For us, the Batmobile was the final piece of the puzzle. We've been wanting to do it for a long time, but really needed next-gen horsepower to pull that off."

The new addition of the Batmobile is another noteworthy feature for Arkham Knight. The vehicle will be drivable for the first time ever in the series. In addition, Batman's most signature vehicle can shoot immobilizing missiles that can be fired at any time. Furthermore, the vehicle can eject Batman at so he can be able to grapple or glide throughout Gotham City.

Batman: Arkham Knight will be available for PC, Xbox One, and PS4 later this year.
