He also announced that the movie, which will also see the act of Ben Affleck as Batman, will act as a prologue to the already announced "Justice League" big screen adaptation.

"It's introducing the Batman character, and expanding upon this universe, which was kicked off by Man of Steel. It's an introduction to the character, and ultimately an introduction to Justice League," he went on to say.

With still a year left before the movie hit the cinemas worldwide, it can't be helped that the actor would be asked about some details of the movie which is now reportedly in a post-production phase.

"Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice" is set to debut Gal Gadot's Amazonian princess character, Wonder Woman, as well as Jason Momoa's Atlantean king, Aquaman.

Directed by Snyder, the movie is slated to open in theaters on March 25, 2016.
