BadA--Digest indicated that Clark Kent and Lois will still be together when the movie opens up. They are in fact living together while also working for the Daily Planet.

The publication also hinted that Clark's personal interest, as a journalist, would be the mystery surrounding The Batman.

Lois, on the other hand, will be covering a story in the Middle East. The situation will endanger humnakind, forcing her to call on Superman for some rescuing. This will cause an international conflict as other nations will perceive the Kryptonian as weapon used against them by America.

"China, for instance, doesn't want him in their air space. It's an interesting look at how a being like Superman would be viewed on a global scale," the site explained.

There's also the confrontation between the superhero and a "big bad guy."

"When Superman confronts a big bad guy and unravels his plot, he tells the villain, 'I won't snap your neck, I'm going to take you to prison,' an on-the-nose response to criticisms of the first movie. Of course Superman later loses his cool and threatens to break the bad guy's back, so he hasn't quite internalized everything yet," BadA--Digest reported.

The information given "comes from a script that was handed in a month before principal photography" of the film began.

More rumors are expected to trickle out in the coming days.
