'Batman V Superman' Spoilers, News: Set Choreographer Promises Better Fight Scenes Than 'Dark Knight' Trilogy

Most moviegoers might readily assume that going toe to toe against Superman would mean a one-sided fight scenario. The Kryptonite, having no weaknesses and generally possess all the best superpowers in the universe, could effortlessly smack down the hand-to-hand combat master, Batman.

However, recent "Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice" news indicated that this might not be the case.

Choreographer Guillermo Grispo revealed that Ben Affleck's Dark Knight will have a "few tricks up his sleeve" to even out with Henry Cavill's Man of Steel.

"There's a thought that Batman has no chance, that the other [Superman] will squash him like a bug. But when you see the movie, and how it all comes out, there's a very intelligent explanation as to why they could have a first-hand confrontation though it seems to be totally to Batman's disadvantage," he told Los Andes Diario.

Speaking of fight scenes, Screen Rant also quoted Grispo saying that fans should expect a much better showcase of the Caped Crusader's fighting skills and style, which he said Christopher Nolan failed to offer in his "Dark Knight" trilogy.

"Now Batman is going to fight the way I've always dreamed seeing him fight … he's a character so prepared in martial arts that you can do a lot of things with him, but filmmakers usually don't go all the way with it. Even in the last Nolan movies the action scenes aren't very good from a technical, martial arts point of view to things like choreography, filming, bad camera movements," he said.

Now that the character is already in the hands of a director renowned of his penchant for relentless and audacious fight scenes, viewers will see a "big difference" when the Zack Snyder-helmed flick hits the theaters on March 25, 2016.

"Those are the kind of details that Zack, being so physical himself, loves preparing. I think there's going to be a big difference when you see these Batman fights in comparison to the previous ones," the choreographer added.
