'Batman vs Superman: Dawn of Justice' Plot Spoilers: Superman to Defeat Batman?

Who is stronger—Batman or Superman? This question will remain unanswered until the premiere of one of the biggest movies coming out next year, "Batman vs Superman: Dawn of Justice". The movie is still months away from its release date in U.S. theaters which is on March 25, 2016, but plot spoilers are already making rounds on the Internet.

In a report by MNR Daily, the movie's plot draws together on the concept of Superman being made like a god in the city because of his great power. Fear develops in the mind of Gotham City's vigilante, the Dark Knight. He goes on a mission to enforce checks and balances over Metropolis' Superman, which later resulted into a brawl between the two.

In other news, the latest rumor to be out from the mill are reports of the Man of Steel defeating the Dark Knight, according to Latino Post. The two superheroes are expected to engage in a battle royale as seen in the teaser trailer released. With the two characters both a powerful combatant on their own, there's no telling who will win the brawl.

Marvel Comics artist Stan Lee made his bet on Superman when asked who will win the battle.

"Oh, Superman … He's indestructible, he can do anything. And Batman relies on a few weapons. If this is real, a fight between Superman and Batman, there's no way you'd bet on Batman," he told The Boston Herald. He also later added that, personally, it's hard for him to choose which superhero is better.

Meanwhile, another character's identity in the movie may have leaked online. There are reports of actor Scoot McNairy playing the role of Jimmy Olsen who is a friend of Superman but with a major twist in his character.

According to Heroic Hollywood, Jimmy Olsen is a well-recognized character from the comics. He works as an investigative reporter and photojournalist at the Daily Planet, allowing him to cross paths with Clark Kent aka Superman. He attended the Black Zero event and later on lost his legs after they were pinned under falling building rubble. The site's sources confirmed the information to be accurate.
