Citing DICE's own David Sirland, it was further confirmed that all these additional updates will be enjoyed both by Premium and non-Premium players, free of charge.

The upcoming Spring expansion packs would include new maps, new weapons, as well as the reported Gunsmaster game mode.

Game & Guide meanwhile mentioned the night maps which players have been looking forward to. The said maps, however, are just the night versions of the vanilla maps and not entirely new ones. The remakes, according to the site, will include Siege of Shanghai, Zavod 311 and Golmud Railway.

It remains to be seen what the Gunsmaster mode will be about. The new weapons, however, will be consisted of four new guns and these are Groza-1 Assault Rifle, Groza-2 Assault Rifle, L86A1 Assault Rifle, and the Mare's Leg a.k.a. Saddle Gun Sniper – a compact rifle/pistol. The other will be the returning AN94 gun.

This summer, DICE will also release the brand new community map which the screenshots provided by BF4Central showed it to be of a medium-sized map with 5 flags. Aside from that, there's also the yet to be announced map remake of some of the maps featured in "a former Battlefield game."
