Bayern Munich will play host to French side Lille OSC and will be looking to secure a place in the second round against a team that currently sits on the bottom of the group.
Bayern Munich's manager Josef Heynckes will be looking to keep his teams positive form in their last group stage match of the Champions League and is expected to only make minor adjustments for the contest.
Heynckes is expected to start most of his players that beat Hamburg 3-0 on Saturday in league play. But the former German footballer will have to contend with the absence of defender Holger Badstuber, who is still recovering from injury. This will mean a probable start for Dante against his former club and will be expected to play alongside left-back David Alaba.
Heynckes does have several choices for midfield, including Luiz Gustavo and Javi Martinez, who have been routinely rotated in European competitions as well as in league play.
French international Franck Ribery will also start on the left side of the pitch and will look to support striker Claudio Pizarro, who is rumored to replace Mario Mandzukic due to his continued illness.
For Rudi Garcia and his French side, the situation is becoming desperate, and anything other than full points from this match will almost guarantee an early exit from the tournament for the club.
To make their situation more difficult is the fact that Lille will be without several key players for their match in Germany.
Mathieu Debuchy and Marko Basa are out, as both players sustained injuries during Saturday's 2-0 win over Evian in league play.
Lille have lost all three games thus far while only scoring one goal and conceding six. On a positive note, the clubs best performance in the Champions League was against Munich in which they lost 1-0 on a penalty shot.
Kickoff for the match is at 2:45 ET and can be watched online here.
