'Better Call Saul' Release Date: New Teaser Clip Video Released

AMC recently shared a teaser for the "Breaking Bad" spin-off "Better Call Saul" and it's rather both funny and interesting, especially for those who have known the two characters featured in the clip.

The video showed the would-be Walter "Heisenberg" White attorney, Saul Goodman (Bob Odenkirk) who is then known by his real name, Jimmy McGill. He was shown weaseling his way into a parking garage operated by the grouchy-looking Mike Ehrmantraut (Jonathan Banks).

"I was a jerk," McGill spoke to his future private investigator. "I will pay you what I owe you plus interest if you just let me come through."

The parking lot situation escalates, and the disinterested Ehrmantraut reminds the smooth talking legal counselor (and the audience) that he's someone who is not to be messed around with.

"Better Call Saul" is reported to premiere with a special two-night run this coming Sunday, Feb. 8 and on Monday Feb. 9 at 10 p.m. on AMC. Subsequent episodes will then air on Monday nights.

Earlier November, the upcoming series also released a teaser trailer featuring a ravaged motel room with scattered pieces of what appears to be illegal items lying on the ground. The teaser then leads the camera to a phonebook yellow page showing the name of Saul Goodman.

The plot for the highly-anticipated spin-off is said to happen in the early 2000s, which is six years before the blue-meth crisis timeline occurs.

The show is co-created by "Breaking Bad" executive producer Vince Gilligan and writer-director Peter Gould.

Along with "Breaking Bad" alums Banks and Odendirk, other new players include Michael McKean (as Saul's brother), Rhea Seehorn, Patrick Fabian, and Michael Mando.
