'Better Call Saul' Season 2 News, Spoilers: Bob Odenkirk on Finale Cliffhanger; Creators Confirm Gus Fring Puzzle In Episode Titles

"Jimmy probably can't talk his way out of this one," "Better Call Saul" star Bob Odenkirk said about the predicament his character, Jimmy, finds himself in at the end of "Klick," the season 2 finale.

The season 2 ender, which aired on Monday, April 18, saw Jimmy making the difficult choice to confess his document trickery and urging his brother, Chuck (Michael McKean), to reconsider his decision to resign from Hamlin, Hamlin & McGill (HHM). But while Jimmy's confession was driven by concern for his brother, who was recovering from a case of self-induced catatonia, it was later revealed that Chuck had recorded his and Jimmy's conversation.

While the "Better Call Saul" protagonist may have previously been able to slip through some seriously sticky situations, this may be the one predicament that finally gets him disbarred - or worse.

In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, Odenkirk spoke about the stunning "BCS" finale and admitted that he doesn't know how Jimmy will be able to keep his law license after Chuck recorded his confession. Still, apparently, Jimmy doesn't get disbarred as Saul Goodman, his "Breaking Bad" persona, did appear to still have a license.

According to the actor, maybe Chuck doesn't necessarily have the upper hand yet. And when the new season airs, viewers will find the brothers in a place where their next moves will have to go "beyond cleverness."

"Maybe clever moves aren't going to get us to the next place, but blunt force, in some capacity," Odenkirk said with a laugh.

Meanwhile, "Better Call Saul" creators Vince Gilligan and Peter Gould have admitted that a popular fan theory regarding a soon-to-be-revealed "Breaking Bad" cameo is true. In an interview with Vanity Fair, Gilligan and Gould confirmed that the first letters of the season 2 episode titles do indeed spell out "Fring's Back," a major hint that avid fans had already puzzled out.

Gustavo "Gus" Fring was the drug kingpin played by Giancarlo Esposito in "Breaking Bad."

"We were hoping it would be more of an open question at this point," Gould told Vanity Fair. "We had this — to us — this very bright idea of encoding the words 'Fring's Back' in the episode titles."

"And we thought we'd be revealing it maybe sometime over the summer," he added.

"I guess we really underestimated the genius and hard work of our fans," the "BCS" producer said.

But while the "BCS" creators admit that Fring will soon make his presence felt in the "Breaking Bad" spinoff, fans won't necessarily find him at the beginning of season 3.

"He does not reveal himself easily," Gilligan said.
