'Better Call Saul' Season 3: Jimmy Will Finally Go Underground as Saul Goodman; Will Go Head to Head with Fring

Fring will definitely be coming, will Walter White be far behind?

Fans of "Better Call Saul" Season 3 are excited about seeing Jimmy McGill shed most of the goodness in him and finally transform into Saul Goodman more than anything. They believe that this will happen in the next installment of the series to be aired in 2017.

Transformation to Saul Goodman

As most of the show's loyal fans know, Jimmy (Bob Odenkirk) was caught in a dilemma when he found himself at a crossroad in the "Better Call Saul" Season 2 finale. They expect that in the coming season, Jimmy will finally turn into the person they have been dying to see–Saul Goodman.

Odenkirk did say in an interview that "Better Call Saul" Season 3 will be when things will really explode. He teased that the season will be about how Jimmy's innocence gets torn away. Viewers will discover that Saul is really the person who he is supposed to be pretending to be in order to get back at the world.

Loss of innocence

Odenkirk's statements could only mean that "Better Call Saul" Season 3 will dig deep into who Saul truly is. In order for Saul to live, Jimmy has to lose his innocence since this will be the only way for Saul to get the vengeance on the people who betrayed him.

Fans also speculate that Jimmy will have to sacrifice the people he holds dear to make his transformation to the dark side complete. It will not also be a surprise to fans if Kim (RheaSeehorn) and his best friend Mike (Jonathan Banks) get dragged along the way which Jimmy will surely not do intentionally. It's just that the two will support him no matter what.

Another possible spoiler for "Better Call Saul" Season 3 is the focus that will be given on Jimmy's sibling rivalry with Chuck (Michael McKean). Last season, Jimmy suffered his brother's betrayal and he was forced to admit that Chuck's Mesa Verde documents were fabricated. This might have been the turning point towards Jimmy's transformation.

Fring is definitely coming back

The "Breaking "Bad" iconic drug kingpin Gus Fring (Giancarlo Esposito) has been confirmed by Odenkirk to appear in "Better Call Saul" Season 3. Fring, the owner of the Los PollosHermanos restaurants and a notorious leader of a drug syndicate was thought to have been killed in a bomb explosion that was set up by Tio Salamanca (Mark Margolis) in the finale of "Breaking Bad" Season 4 finale.

With Fring being on board "Better Call Saul" Season 3, speculations say that the return of his former meth cook, Walter White (Bryan Cranston), is not far behind. Cranston has admitted to being a big fan of the spin-off series and teased that he would guest star if asked. What could be a bigger treat for the fans of the two hit AMC shows than that?
