'Better Call Saul' Season 3: More 'Breaking Bad' Characters to Appear

Gus Fring (Giancarlo Esposito) will not be the only "Breaking Bad" character set to make an epic comeback in "Better Call Saul" season 3.

Bob Odenkirk, who plays Jimmy McGill in the hit spinoff, confirmed in a recent interview with The Huffington Post that more familiar faces will pop up.

"Giancarlo is an incredibly sweet, generous actor and incredibly gifted, amazing actor, so it's wonderful to have him around. And it's wonderful to get the story closer to the world of Breaking Bad, and it's not just Giancarlo," Odenkirk said.

"There are other characters from that show that are starting to appear, so that is super-exciting, and it raises our stakes, and it raises our game at Saul," he went on to say.

There is no word which "Breaking Bad" characters Odenkirk was referring to, but with Gus Fring's involvement in "Better Call Saul" season 3, many are speculating that Jesse Pinkman (Aaron Paul) will be one of the people making a comeback.

Interestingly, Paul has hinted earlier this year that he will be on "Better Call Saul" season 3 although he played coy about it.

When asked about filming for the spinoff during his appearance on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show," the actor said "Maybe I already shot it."

"We just — or they just — wrapped the [latest] season," he went on to say, suggesting that he might actually be in "Better Call Saul" season 3.

This is not far-fetched seeing that Gus Fring and Jesse Pinkman are actually two characters whose stories are heavily connected in "Breaking Bad."

Last year, fans will also remember that Bryan Cranston, who starred in the original series as Walter White, teased to Uproxx that there is "another new character coming on the show that you will recognize."

Who it is remains to be seen but he did emphasize that it won't be Jesse Pinkman. That being said, it looks like there will be several characters from "Breaking Bad" set to appear on the spinoff.

"Better Call Saul" season 3 premieres Monday, April 10, at 10 p.m. ET on AMC.
