Beyonce and Blue Ivy Carter Visit Aunt Solange in Brooklyn

Beyonce and her daughter Blue Ivy enjoyed a day in New York City Tuesday with aunt Solange. The 3-month old is rarely seen making public appearances, so onlookers couldn't resist snapping photos.

Beyonce and Blue Ivy first got a visit from Auntie Solange in Tribeca. Shawn "Jay-Z" Carter and Beyonce have a loft, and Solange was spotted leaving the loft after the visit. The social visit was a relaxed one, as Beyonce's little sister wore gray short shorts, a loose top, and a tiny black leather Chanel purse.

Solange completed her easygoing look with zebra-print sunglasses and winged Addidas sneakers. She then hopped into a black Mercedes G5 Wagon, her ride for the day.

The family fun day didn't end there, however. Later on the same day, new mom Beyonce and baby Blue Ivy Carter headed to Solange's Brooklyn home.

Bystanders couldn't help but take notice as Beyonce and Blue Ivy headed into Solange's home. With a bodyguard protecting anyone from getting too close to the pair, no one was able to get that good of a look at the infant; a multicolored scarf covered her hair and face at all times.

Still, Beyonce did her best to make sure she and her child were stylish. Beyonce stepped out in a black and yellow blouse and a charcoal hat. Her black shorts and black loafers set off the outfit, complete with round-rimmed black sunglasses she has been spotted in often. Blue Ivy wore a matching yellow t-shirt and tiny denim capris.

As always, a BabyBjorn sling kept Blue Ivy close to mommy's chest.

Although Blue Ivy is rarely seen, Beyonce and husband Jay-Z have been spotted in several places in New York City. After their Easter vacation to St. Barts, the pair was seen at a New Jersey Nets game, possibly because the rap mogul is part owner of the team. Sunday, they also attended a Knicks vs. Heat game at Madison Square Garden.
