Beyonce and Gwyneth Paltrow Planning Vacation? Best Friends Going on 4-Day California Retreat

Beyonce and Gwyneth Paltrow are said to be planning a 4-day retreat together for some much needed rest and relaxation.

The longtime friends will reportedly check into an exclusive retreat in California's central coast in coming days where they will enjoy yoga sessions and hikes together. Both Beyonce, 32, and Paltrow, 41, have had a difficult last few months and the trip is expected to help lift their spirits.

In March, Paltrow announced her separation from Coldplay singer Chris Martin, 37, after 10 years of marriage and the actress is still coming to terms with their failed marriage. Beyonce, who kicks off a new tour later this month, made headlines last month when she was literally caught in the middle of an assault scandal involving her sister Solange and husband d Jay Z.

"Gwyneth reckons this is just what her friend needs to get her energy back," a source told The Sun U.K.

The pair will reportedly spend their days meditating, exercising and wine tasting at the private retreat. The getaway will undoubtedly benefit the "Partition" singer ahead of her upcoming tour with Jay Z.

The couple's forthcoming "On The Run" tour, kicks off in Miami in coming weeks and they are scheduled to perform 18 shows across the U.S. between June 25 and Aug. 6, however, more shows are likely to be added to the list at a later date. The tour was named after Beyonce and Jay Z's "Part II (On the Run)" song.

Beyonce once gushed about Paltrow and described her as a "great friend" during an interview with E! News.

"She is incredible, she's a great friend on every level," Beyonce told E! News about Paltrow.

"I think for us, protecting our daughters is so important and keeping things on our own terms, so I will still be protective and make sure [Blue Ivy] has a childhood and a great time," the source explained.

Paltrow once described Beyonce and Jay Z as "incredible people" during an appearance on the "Ellen" show.

"Jay is one of the people that I respect most in the world. He's such an iconoclast in so many ways," she told talk show host Ellen DeGeneres.
