The couple are scheduled to perform 18 shows across the U.S. between June 25 and Aug. 6, however, more shows are likely to be added to the list at a later date. The tour was named after Beyonce and Jay Z's "Part II (On the Run)" song.

The "On The Run" tour in partnership up with Beyonce's #BeyGOOD campaign will donate $1 from every ticket sold to the Shawn Carter Foundation, an organization designed to help further the education of those facing socio-economic hardships.

Last month Beyonce and Jay Z made headlines after the singer's younger sister Solange, 27, was captured on video violently attacking the rapper.

The trio attended a Met Gala after party in New York on May 5 and upon leaving Solange lunged at her brother-in-law during a dispute which occurred in an elevator. While the video raised concerns, Beyonce, Jay Z and Solange have since asked the public to move on.

"The most important thing is that our family has worked through it. Jay and Solange each assume their share of responsibility for what has occurred," a statement obtained by CNN read.

"At the end of the day, families have problems and we're no different," it continued. "We love each other and above all we are family. We've put this behind us and hope everyone else will do the same."
