Beyonce Knowles-Carter Shares Adoration for Obama After Jay-Z Performance

Beyonce Knowles-Carter has been vocal about her support for Barack Obama this election season, and the 31-year-old singer shared a letter that she wrote to the 44th president on her website before Election Day.

The singer's letter began by addressing Obama who she described as someone who has inspired her.

"President Obama, Everyday we see your heart and character, inspiring all of us to give more of ourselves," Beyonce wrote. "You are the leader to take us from where we are to where we need to be. You are the reason my daughter and nephew will grow up knowing that they can truly be ANYTHING they want to be."

Beyonce ended her handwritten letter with "All my respect and adoration, Beyonce."

The singer's husband, rapper Jay-Z, also showed his support for Obama recently by appearing at a campaign rally in Columbus Ohio with the 44th president and singer Bruce Springsteen Monday. The rapper performed his song "99 Problems" with the remixed words "Mitt Romney ain't one" in the song's hook.

However, the entertainers have not only waited until the final days of the election to show their support for the Obama family. Last April, Knowles-Carter wrote a handwritten letter to the first lady of the 44th president, Michelle Obama.

"Michelle, thank you so much for every single thing that you do for us – I am proud to have my daughter grow up in a world where she has people like you, to look up to," the singer wrote. "Michelle, is the ULTIMATE example of a truly strong African American woman. She is a caring mother, she's a loving wife, while at the same time, she is the FIRST LADY!!"

The singer and her husband also hosted a fundraiser to show their support for Obama last September.
