Beyonce New Album Isn't Late, Reps Say

Beyonce Knowles, the 31-year-old singer, has been subject to rumors about her album being pushed back, but now her representatives are responding to the reports.

Beyonce has not released an album since her fourth studio release titled "4" in 2011. After The Hollywood Reporter claimed the singer has been pushing back her Spring 2013 release date, The Huffington Post reported that this is not true.

According to the publication, Beyonce never had an official release date for her fifth studio album.

"Beyonce is recording music in the studio while completing her Mrs. Carter World Tour, the representative said in a phone call to HuffPost," the publication reported. "A press rollout will accompany any official release date (and, if need be, any official delays)."

A number of people working close to the singer on her new music have opened up about her latest project in progress.

"I just did two songs for her new album, well, I tried," producer Diplo told The Sun earlier this month. "I think she scrapped the record."

Beyonce has been working on her album since last summer including sessions with Ryan Tedder, The-Dream, Greg Kurstin and Sia according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Last month, singer-songwriter Ne-Yo also spoke about working with Beyonce for her forthcoming project.

"I'm still putting stuff together for Beyonce's album," he told Billboard Magazine last month. "They're still trying to figure out what they want that to be, which I'm not mad at. Beyonce's the kind of artist where you're not gonna see it till it's right. And her fans -- they love her so they'll be patient."

Beyonce is currently performing on her Mrs Carter World Tour. Although she has released new music, the singer has yet to an announce an official single for her upcoming album.
