Beyonce News: Beyonce's New Project 'Lemonade' to Premiere on Saturday on HBO

Fans of the pop icon, Beyonce have been waiting for the singer's next album, as she has not released any new album in two and a half years. According to a report in Bustle, Beyonce who is also known as the Queen by her fans who are collectively known as Beyhive, recently surprised everyone by announcing at the Super Bowl that she will be doing her The World Formation Tour starting April 27. News about her next album however has been scant, until now.

According to the report, Beyonce hinted at something big happening on Saturday on the HBO network. She shared a teaser video via her Instagram account, which also revealed that her new project titled "Lemonade" is having its world premiere on the network. The teaser video which was barely 30 seconds long, featured a woman (who is likely Beyonce) wearing a fur coat, leaning against a car. She is shown slowly lifting her head up, but the video is too short to show the woman's identity.

This teaser video was followed by a full trailer that was released on Sunday. According to another report in Entertainment Weekly, the one-minute trailer showed different images and clips, which included the Queen of course. What is interesting is the narration that Beyonce herself says in the trailer: "The past and the present merge to meet us here. What are you hiding? What am I doing, my love? You are the love of my life." As she says the line: "Pull me in," the schedule of the world premiere is once again flashed on screen.

Based on these videos however, it is not yet clear whether this is indeed a new album that is being teased. From the looks of the trailer, it may very well be a new music video for a new single or a new album. According to another report in The Inquisitr, everything that has happened so far and how Beyonce has been handling this new project of hers is reminiscent of how she released her self-titled album last December 2013.

The teaser video alone, according to the report, was viewed over 1.7 million times in less than a day, and the hashtag Lemonade became viral immediately after. The full trailer currently has over 2 million views on her official YouTube channel. If these numbers are any indication, whatever the Queen is revealing on Saturday will surely be lapped up by her fans.
