Beyonce Knowles and Shawn "Jay-Z" Carter are yet to publicly address rumors of a second pregnancy but new reports suggest that the hip hop mogul is hoping to have a boy next.

The couple, who welcomed the birth of their first child baby Blue Ivy in January, is reportedly ready to expand their family, according to reports.

"[Beyonce] definitely wants more kids," a source told Us Magazine. "Jay wants a boy next so they can have one of each. They're ready for a baby whenever it happens."

Beyonce has reportedly been displaying signs of a second pregnancy in recent months, and the singer openly revealed her desire to have more babies.

"I definitely want to have more [children]! I don't know how many. God knows I don't know yet," Beyonce previously told E! News.

The Grammy award-winning artists recently celebrated Beyonce's 31st birthday on board a private yacht as they cruised through the Mediterranean Sea on Sept. 4 with their 7-month-old baby. They have reportedly been trying to conceive baby number two.

"They see no reason to wait. It took them a while to conceive Blue Ivy, so they don't want to waste another second," a source told Star Magazine.

"Beyonce and Jay-Z adore being parents, and they're as hands-on as they possibly can be. Beyonce has found a passion other than music, and it's being a mom," the insider added.

The "Single Ladies" singer once spoke about the joys of motherhood and how giving birth to Blue Ivy has changed her life.

"Nothing can describe the feeling. You have the instant connection once you know your child is growing inside you, but when you hold it for the first time, the words can't be found," Beyonce gushed to Star U.K.

"It's an old cliché that the thing expectant moms look forward to the most is holding their child in their arms for the first time, but it's one of those clichés that is a real truth," she added.
