Beyonce Ready for More Babies After 'Mrs. Carter' Tour

Beyonce Knowles seems to be ready for more babies after she completes her upcoming tour.

Knowles, the 31-year-old singer, recently spoke about her desire to have more children with husband Jay-Z in the April issue of Shape magazine.

"Absolutely," the singer told Shape. "I'll probably start after this tour. We'll see if it happens."

Knowles is the mother of 1-year-old daughter Blue Ivy Carter but is gearing up to embark on a 42-city world tour called the Mrs. Carter Show after taking some time off. However, the singer has gushed about her excitement concerning motherhood.

"I just adore being a mother, hearing her say Mama and call me when she needs something," she told Shape. "It makes me feel like I have a real purpose here. I enjoy all the things people warned me would be tough to handle."

Knowles said she is surprised to learn so much from her 1-year-old daughter.

"I'm most surprised by how much she's taught me. She's only a year old and I've learned so much about myself from her," she told Shape. "Giving birth was one of my biggest fears, and having Blue forced me to face it. And now I recognize the strength I have. She teaches me to focus on the things that truly matter, like family, and to pay attention to each moment, because they go by so quickly."

The singer and her husband have been vocal about their new family addition in the media after years of keeping a low profile. Last year, Knowles told People magazine that she already knew the biggest lesson that she would work to teach her first daughter.

"My biggest thing is to teach [Blue] not to focus on the aesthetic," Beyonce said last year in People magazine. "It's really about who you are, and the human being, that makes you beautiful."
