Justin Bieber has been accused of assaulting a woman with what is believed to have been a Nerf gun. The woman, a security guard, has filed a complaint with police.

A woman in Ottawa, Canada complained in November that Bieber, or a person standing next to him, had assaulted her. The woman is an employee at the venue where the pop star was scheduled to put on a concert, according to TMZ.

Bieber and his 3-year-old brother were allegedly engaged in a Nerf war with their 4-year-old sister when one of the darts accidentally hit the woman who has complained. The woman alleged that she was a security guard and complained to Bieber's people, TMZ reports.

Following the incident, the woman filed a police report. The authorities are now currently in the process of investigating the situation. People at the venue have already been interviewed, according to TMZ.

Hundreds of fans responded to the incident stating that the charges were trivial and unfair. The singer's reputation however, has come under question in recent weeks. Last weekend Bieber posted a photo of himself lowering his pants and exposing his behind on Twitter. The photo was taken down within minutes of being posted, but thousands of followers had already viewed the picture.

Last month the singer was under fire after media outlets posted a photo of the "As Long as You Love Me" singer allegedly smoking marijuana.
