Best Buy will make the Asus Eee Pad Transformer tablet available for a cheaper price come Black Friday 2011.

Best Buy's upcoming "Door Buster" offer advertisements were leaked. The announcement for this Android tablet was visible on the advertisements themselves.

Best Buy on Black Friday will sell the Asus Eee Pad Transformer for $250. This new price will be brought down from the original price of $400. The add-on dock item retails for a price of $150.

Powered by Nvidia's Tegra 3 quad-core processor, the Eee Pad Transformer Prime is the first in a new generation of quad-core chip tablets geared for graphics gaming and multimedia tablet applications, without plundering the battery life.

The 0.33-inch thick slate tablet features a 10.1-inch Corning Gorilla glass touch screen with a 178-degree viewing angle, lightweight brushed metal design, high-definition 8-megapixel rear auto-focus camera with LED flash and a front facing 1.2 megapixel camera. The tablet weighs only 1.29 pounds.

The Asus Eee Pad Transformer 2 specifications were revealed at last month’s AsiaD Conference in Hong Kong.

In July, DigiTimes reported that the Asus Eee Pad Transformer was the second-best selling tablet after the iPad.

"Despite earlier reports that sales of Asus' convertible tablet were slowing, monthly shipments of the Eee Pad Transformer have surpassed 400,000 units per month," said DigiTimes.

"Given the highly crowded tablet market, this is no small feat for Asus; the healthy sales and production forecasts are due in no small part to the Transformer's attractive price and unique ability to turn into a quasi-laptop with the keyboard dock,” DigiTimes added.

The leaked Best Buy advertisement also showed a TF100-X1 model of the Wi-Fi Transformer running Android 3.2 Honeycomb. The dock will be sold for $99 as part of this deal.

New tablets, such as the $199 Kindle Fire and $250 Nook Color, have now hit the market alongside the Asus Eee Pad.

Best Buy's doors will open at midnight on Black Friday. The advertisements noted that each store would have a minimum of 10 tablets and four docks.
