Black Friday 2011: Lowe's, Home Depot and Sears Home Wares Deals
Lowe’s, Home Depot and Sears will all be offering deals on hardware and home improvement equipment on Black Friday this year.
The giant retailers have all announced their 2011 Black Friday sales except for Home Depot, which is running additional sales from now through the holiday shopping season.
Fortunately, savvy shoppers can save time on Black Friday by doing a little research on what appliances, tools and home wares suit them or those on their shopping list before the sales. The retailers tend to carry specific brands, unique from each other, so it’s best to visit stores and conduct online research before the big day.

KITCHEN
Lowe’s will offer savings on a large stock of Whirlpool and Samsung major kitchen appliances. Choose from at least eight refrigerators for as low as $830. Washer and dryer units from both makers are facing $1,000 cutbacks. And Lowe’s will offer a number of Whirlpool and Samsung premium microwaves for around $100.
Home Depot is currently offering up to $800 off GE, Maytag and LG refrigerators. Energy-saving dishwashing units are less than $250.
Sears has great savings on a massive stock of Kenmore appliances, including doorbuster deals on refrigerators, oven units, dishwashers and laundry machines.
HARDWARE
Sears will mark down their entire stock of Craftsman tools. Doorbuster deals include 50 percent off a Craftsman C3 19.2-volt power drill, up to 90 percent off a GearSet 20-piece wrench set and 50 percent of a Craftsman tool chest.
Home Depot has hundreds of gifts for under $20. Get a 10-piece Apex wrench set, a Husky 48-in-one ratcheting tool, or a set of Husky mutli-tools.
Lowe’s offers savings on brands like DeWalt, Black & Decker, Chamberlain and Kobalt. Get Kobalt tool sets for $10 or $20, DeWalt drills for nearly 50 percent off and table saw sets for under $100.
OUTDOOR
Save up to $100 on Beast and Black & Decker snow blowers at Home Depot as well as up to 30 percent off select patio equipment.
The entire stock of Craftsman power lawn gear is 20 percent off at Sears. Kenmore grills are as low as $150.
Lowe’s is offering Char-Griller gas and charcoal grills for under $200.
