Black Friday 2011: North Face Jackets Under $100 Leads Massive Sporting Goods Sale
North Face jackets for under $100, Calloway Irons for $300 and Nike shoes up to 30 percent off are some of the deals offered by sporting goods retailers on Black Friday.
Retailer’s like Dick’s Sporting Goods, Gander Mountain, Modell’s and Walmart are all offering significant Black Friday savings on thousands of products for the outdoorsman or woman in your life.

Dick’s will sell North Face Denali jackets for $165, but Gander Mountain will sell it for $99 on Black Friday. Gander Mountain has a bunch of name brand fleeces and jackets at major discounts.
Dick’s, however, has a much larger stock of North Face material on sale, including headgear, gloves, jackets and pants.
Modell’s has almost its entire stock of Nike and Reebok apparel priced between $20 and $30. Modell’s and Dick’s are the places to get cheap team apparel – Dick’s entire NFL stock is 30 percent off.
Dick’s also has dozens of Reebok, Nike and Adidas footwear marked down as low as $60.
OUTDOORS
Gander Mountain leads the way on sales of outdoors equipment, with loads of deals on hiking, fishing, hunting and camping gear.
A Gander Mountain 0 Degree Oversized Sleeping Bag will be sold for $50, marked down from $100. Select tents are up to 30 percent off. Dick’s will offer backpacks from name brands for 25 percent off.
Guns, ammunition and bags are up to 50 percent off at Gander Mountain. Hundreds of fishing gear items from rods to reels to lures is available for under $50. Dick’s will offer a similar 50 percent off of all ammunition.
SPORTS EQUIPMENT
Shoppers can save up to 25 percent off all soccer, lacrosse and hockey nets and rebounders at Dick’s. The retailer will sell soccer balls for as low as $8.
Walmart will have dozens of bicycles and accessories for under $100. Bicycles include mountain, road and hybrid varieties for men, women and children. The store will also have a wide variety of footballs, soccer balls, basketballs and more for under $25.
Golf gear will be hugely discounted at Dick’s. Taylormade, Titleist, Wilson, Maxfli and Nike gear will all be on sale. Iron sets from Calloway and Nike are available for under $300. A Taylormade Burner Superfast 2.0 Driver is $200. Most apparel is 50 percent off. Titleist golf balls are going for $40 a box.
