Radio Shack followed the trend of many other retailers and released what deals shoppers can expect to see on Black Friday.

The electronics store will offer laptops, phones, video games and many other items at a discount.

The Nook Color will sell for $199 and come with a $20 dollar gift card. The 2.1 Channel 8-Watt Speakers are on sale for $9.99, the iHome Slim Folio Case for iPad 2 will sell for $9.99 and the Nikon Coolpix 16.1 MP Digital Camera is on sale for $119.99.

A purchase of the $79 Kindle or the Xbox360 and Kinect bundle for $199 will come with a free $10 gift card.

Radio Shack will open at 5:30 a.m. for Black Friday, just a little later than other retailers.

Walmart announced Thursday it will open its doors at 10 p.m. on Thanksgiving night.

They are also offering deals on electronics.

The Samsung 51-inch plasma televisions will go for $498, Kodak 14-megapixel cameras for $49 and Magellan GPSs for $69. The Vizio 42-inch 3D LED Wi-Fi HDTV will sell for $598 and select DVDs for $12.96 each.

Macy's decided to open at midnight on Black Friday for the first time in the store's 153-year history. Kohl's, Target and Toys R Us also announced they will be opening their doors at midnight.

Online retailers also tried to get shoppers excited about the holiday season.

Amazon features a "lightning deals" section allowing customers to see products about to be placed on sale.

The discounted deals will change throughout the day, luring online shoppers back to the website so they do not miss a bargain. Amazon said it would offer sales on items such as electronics, magazine subscriptions, clothing, shoes, jewelry and even groceries.

Holiday retail sales are expected to rise 3 percent and 212 million people are projected to go shopping on Black Friday, spending around $39 billion, according to Shopper Trak.
