'Black Sails' Season 4 Spoilers: Tension Growing Between Billy And Long John Silver

Current season of 'Black Sails' expected to be the final one

Season 4 of "Black Sails" is expected to tie up several loose ends and provide conclusions for numerous storylines, and it may even feature some conflict brewing between two former friends.

In the latest episode of the show, fans witnessed a kind of reunion featuring Long John Silver (Luke Arnold) and Billy Bones (Tom Hopper).

As Inverse noted, Silver and Bones at one point even worked together as partners. However, things are different now, and instead of renewing their partnership, Silver and Billy may be more interested in keeping an eye on each other, looking for any possible signs of trouble.

The tension between the two get even more heated as Silver demanded some answers from Billy and all of this is hinting that there may be more trouble in store for both characters, according to a recent article from Den of Geek.

It appears that whatever remains of a working relationship Billy and Silver once shared may be eroding now, but theirs is not the only one that may be ending during this current season of "Black Sails."

Speaking earlier this year to Paste Magazine, Toby Stephens, the actor who plays James Flint on the show, touched on what may ultimately take place between his character and Silver.

According to Stephens, this season will feature the "endgame" of the relationship that Flint and Silver share.

Already, Silver has been shown getting into a confrontation with someone who can be considered as a former friend of his. The rest of this season may also continue featuring that theme, only with Silver and Flint now the ones going after each other.

In any case, this current season of the show is expected to feature resolutions for many storylines as it is the final one.

More news about what happens next in season 4 of "Black Sails" should be made available soon.
