Blake Lively Dishes on Life With Ryan Reynolds: 'Never Been Happier'

Blake Lively has opened up about her life with now-husband Ryan Reynolds in an interview that took place just weeks ahead of their secret marriage.

The "Gossip Girl" star reported that she was the happiest she had ever been just a month and a half before her Sept. 8 nuptials.

"Right now, I'm so peaceful," she told Allure magazine. "I've never been happier in my life. It's the choice that you have to wake up every day and say, 'There's no reason today can't be the best day of my life.'"

Last Sunday may very well have been the best day of the actress' life; for she walked down the aisle at Boone Hall Plantation in Mt. Pleasant, S.C. and exchanged vows with her boyfriend of over a year, actor Ryan Reynolds.

Also touching on how she spends her spare time, Lively said she is not one for nights on the town and dancing.

"If I were an amazing dancer, yeah, I'd go, but I'm definitely not," she said, according to Allure. "My friend calls me a speed walker because my elbows are everywhere. It's not like I decided on these strict lifestyle choices and I'm enforcing them. It's just something that I genuinely don't have a desire for."

Given her aversion to the nightlife, it is safe to assume that Lively will spend a lot of time at her Bedford, N.Y. home which she purchased with Reynolds in April.

Moreover, the home could be filled with children soon, Lively suggested.

"I've always wanted a big family," said the actress during her interview with Allure's October issue. "I'd love 30 if I could."

During her wedding ceremony which was kept under tight wraps until earlier this week, the bride wore a one-of-a-kind Marchesa couture bridal ball gown with a hand-draped silk tulle bodice decorated with crystal and rose gold embroidery, according to People magazine.

Lively was joined by bridesmaids that donned blush silk chiffon Marchesa gowns with crystal-embroidered detail.

The entire bridal party wore red-soled shoes by famous shoe designer Christian Louboutin, who is one of Lively's closest friends.

Alternately, the groom and his groomsmen wore Burberry suits with custom leather suspenders designed by a friend of Reynolds, Christopher Bailey.

Lively, 24, was first rumored to be dating Reynolds, 35, while the pair were filming "Green Lantern" in 2010. It was a year later that the couple officially appeared in public together.
