'Bloodline' Season 3 Spoilers: Rayburn Family's Darkest Secrets to be Revealed; Nolan More Destructive and Like His Father in New Season

Will Meg be able to tell her mother the truth about Danny's death in the hands of John?

All speculations and teasers that have been coming out point to a darker "Bloodline" Season 3 than the series has ever been before. It will also be the last one for the drama after Netflix made the official cancellation announcement late last month.

A very dark season ahead

More revelations will be made in "Bloodline" Season 3. The drama, set in the Florida Keys, chronicles the life and secrets of the Rayburn family. EP Glenn Kessler has refused to reveal details about the new season except to say that it will be very dark. He also hinted that the death of Danny, played by recent Emmy award winner Ben Mendelsohn, will result to more deceptions in the family that he left behind. This may be the source of all the darkness that the new season reportedly has plenty of.

Kessler said in another interview that "Bloodline" Season 3 will be about how the relationships of the family members evolve after Danny's death. He likened his early death in the series similar to stories like "Crime and Punishment".

Some intense cliffhangers

Danny was killed by his own brother John (Kyle Chandler) in the first season of "Bloodline". From then on, Danny appeared as a ghost that has been tormenting John. The second season finale had several intense cliffhangers that will lead to revelations of the deepest and darkest secrets of the Rayburn family in "Bloodline" Season 3.

Among the cliffhangers of last season is Meg Rayburn (Linda Cardellini) about to tell her mother Sally (Sissy Spacek) something. She was shown breaking down in Sally's arms telling her mother that there is something she needed to know. "Bloodline" Season 3 will likely answer if Meg will be able to tell her mother the circumstances of Danny's death and John's involvement in it. Or, something will happen that will prevent Meg from telling her mother the truth.

Getting to be more like his father

When "Bloodline" Season 3 returns, Nolan Rayburn (Owen Teague) will be getting more of the spotlight. Fans are excited to find out if his secret of planning the fire that burned Danny's restaurant will be revealed. Only Diana Rayburn (Jacinda Berrett) knows of this and whether she can keep the secret hidden will be known in the new season.

"Bloodline" Season 3 spoilers tease that the Rayburns will witness Nolan becoming more destructive. Although he doesn't want to be like his father Danny, Nolan cannot deny that he is becoming more like him with the rage inside of him.

As for John, he was seen driving away from the Florida Keys in last season's finale after what he did to Danny. But, he will be seen coming back in "Bloodline" Season 3. According to spoilers, there is a reason for his coming back to the place he so desperately wanted to flee.
