Bobbi Kristina Brown News, Update: Family Claims Whitney Houston's Daughter is Awake, Off Life Support

Bobby Brown stepped out into the light once again to clarify the statements his family released about his daughter, Bobbi Kristina Brown, who is reportedly now "awake" and that her life support has already been removed.

"Doctors have indicated that she will have a long life. However, Bobbi Kristina is presently embarking on a rehabilitation process and the quality of her life will not be known for years to come," Brown's attorney told People magazine.

Bobbi's grandmother Cissy Houston also told the media this week about her granddaughter's condition after she returned from her visit in the hospital.

"While she is no longer in a medically induced coma she has a tracheotomy and according to the doctors she has global and irreversible brain damage and remains unresponsive," the mother of Whitney Houston said. "Meeting with the doctors and understanding that she can live in this condition for a lifetime truly saddens me. We can only trust in God for a miracle at this time."

Last week, TMZ reported about what Bobby Brown has said about his 22-year-old daughter. The R&B singer said in the video that she was "awake" and "watching me" during his performance in Dallas on Saturday.

Tina Brown, Bobby's sibling, also chimed in with the good news on her Facebook (which was later deleted) last week.

"Just allow me this time with my family,,yes, she woke up and is no longer on life support! God is good!!thanks for your prayers,,still a process, but she is going to be ok," Tina's Facebook post reads.

The daughter of the late pop singer Whitney Houston, was found unresponsive in a bathtub at her home in Georgia on Jan. 31. Last month, she was moved to a rehabilitation facility in Atlanta where she is now said to be recovering.
