A body found encased in concrete has led to allegations of homicide and the possibility a feud between two men led to the death. Police in Santa Fe Springs discovered the body after receiving information of a possible homicide.

They "were able to locate a person of interest, and further information led them to the heating and air conditioning business in the 9400 block of John Street," Whittier police spokesman Brad White told the Los Angeles Times.

Detectives and coroners excavated the body, which was buried in concrete. They are now working to identify the victim, an adult male, which may take some time. Police arrested Juan Alberto Galviz, 35, on suspicion of murder.

Right now, though, police have hinted that the murder may have been the result of a "feud" between Galviz and the victim. Galviz is now being held in lieu of $1,007,500 bail.

"We're not concerned about a threat to public safety because we're no longer looking for anyone else," police captain Aviv Bar told the Lead Type, according to CapitalBay.com.

It's the second case of a person being buried in concrete in just a matter of months. In October, Georgia police, working with those from Pensacola, Fla., discovered a body buried in a plastic container and encased in concrete. At the time, they were working to identify the body, which they believed to be Sean Dugas.

Dugas had been missing since August 27, and twin brothers William and Christopher Cormier were charged with his death. An autopsy showed that the victim died of blunt force trauma before being buried; coroners were preparing to use "finger prints, (and) a tattoo and dental records" to properly identify the body, Fox News reported.

Dugas worked as a reporter for the Pensacola News Journal and was friends with the Cormier family. The boys' father, William, told Fox News he was "devastated" by the discovery of the body in his backyard and the association with his sons.
