Boston Bruins vs Chicago Blackhawks takes place in the Stanley Cup 2013 Final Game 5 on Saturday night, with the Blackhawks looking to turn the screw following their victory in Game 4 on Wednesday night. Tonight's game will start at 8 p.m. ET and can be watched online through free live stream (details below).
In Game 4 the Bruins had the chance to put the Blackhawks on the brink. They were playing at home, already with a 2-1 lead in the series and if they could have gone 3-1 up they would have had three opportunities to take the Stanley Cup title.
However, the Blackhawks fought them all the way; at the end of the first period things were all tied up at 1-1. Going into the final quarter the Blackhawks had taken a 4-3 lead and were hoping to finish things. But the Bruins came back to square things at 5-5 sending the game into overtime.
It took the Blackhawks a single overtime period to win through, eventually claiming the game 6-5 in a breathtaking tie.
That leaves things all square and basically turns the series into a best of three from here on out.
Tonight's game returns the series to Chicago and the Blackhawks will be hoping to build upon their good win in Game 4. If they can win at home tonight they will have turned the series on its head and will then have two final games to see things out.
The Bruins meanwhile will be hoping to steal a win on the road tonight to claim a 3-2 win, and if they can do that the series will go back to Boston for Game 6, and they will have the chance to close things out in front of a home crowd.
