Boston Bruins vs Pittsburgh Penguins Game 2 takes place on Monday night in the Stanley Cup Playoffs Eastern Conference Finals, and the Penguins will know how important it is they win tonight and travel to Boston for Game 3 on Wednesday at least at 1-1. The game is scheduled to start at 8 p.m. ET and can be watched online through free live stream (details below).

Both of these teams had gotten through to the Conference Finals without trailing in any if their 2013 Playoffs series. However, something had to give way in this series and it is the Penguins that find themselves behind for the first time. They however, will try to rectify things by claiming a home win tonight.

The Bruins won Game 1 with a confident 3-0 win, scoring one in the first period, and then adding two more in the third to pile on the misery for Pittsburgh.

The Bruins now have the chance to take a 2-0 lead back to TD Garden if they can win again tonight, and if they do so they will become hot favorites to take the conference title.

Boston have won four straight games at TD Garden and so will be confident of winning both games there to close out the series. However, even if they lose one of the two at home they would still have a good 3-1 lead and need just one victory in the final three games.

But things would look different if the Penguins can get back to 1-1 tonight, and if they can do that they will focus on trying to win at least one of their upcoming on the road games to wipe out the home-ice advantage that the Bruins look to capitalize on.
