Boston Red Sox vs Detroit Tigers Live Stream Free: Watch Online ALCS Game 4 MLB 2013 Playoffs

Boston Red Sox vs Detroit Tigers in Game 4 of the ALCS takes place on Wednesday night with Boston looking to keep momentum, having won the previous two straight games in series to take a 2-1 lead in the best of seven series. The game will start at 8.07 p.m. ET and can be watched online through free live stream (details below).

The pitchers have completely dominated this series so far, and all three games so far in this series have been determined by a single run. There have been two 1-0 games so far, and an amazing 68 strikeouts in total.

Detroit will know how important it is to claim a won tonight and level the series up. They will not want to fall 3-1 behind, in which case they will be unable to afford any more slip ups in the series, and would need to win all three remaining games.

The Tigers will be sending right-hander Doug Fister to the mound to try and get them back into contention. Fister is 14-9, and has a 3.67 ERA and 1.31 WHIP in 208 2/3 innings.

Fister was more established in the Detroit team a few years back and was at one stage their No. 2 starting pitcher. However, the team has since acquired Anibal Sanchez, and Max Scherzer has also broken out, which means Fister has fallen back to number four in the pecking order.

Fister made one start in the ALDS against the Athletics, where he allowed three runs on seven hits in six innings. He definitely seemed a bit shaken in the early innings of that game, but he ended strongly.

He has also already faced the Red Sox twice this year already, conceding six runs in just 3 1/3rd innings in the first, and shutting out seven scoreless innings in the second. A lot will depend on which Fister turns up tonight.

Meanwhile Boston will be looking to move within one more win of the World Series by sending out right-hander Jake Peavy to the mound, He is 12-5, and has a 4.17 ERA and 1.15 WHIP in 144 2/3 innings.

Peavy of course joined the Red Sox right on the trade deadline. He started one ALDS game so far this postseason, allowing the Rays just one run in 5 1/3rd innings.
