A rare picture of Brad Pitt hanging out watching the 1990 Super Bowl has emerged, showing the Hollywood star mingling with friends, including Jason Priestley.

Actor, Pitt, and the Beverly Hills 90210 star, Priestley are seen watching the Super Bowl taking place between the San Francisco 49ers and the Denver Broncos.

An alleged friend of the actor has told Celebuzz: "It was not a plush apartment and it was a modest affair. But we had an awesome time watching the game. I think that's the irony here: within a couple years, both of them would have to run from crowds and this was their Super Bowl party, without the Hollywood hoopla."

Bradd Pitt's life has changed considerably in the two decades since then, and he is now with Angelina Jolie together with six kids.

The 1990 photo has instantly become a favorite for fans of the two stars, as it was taken just a year before both came to much greater prominence in Hollywood. In 1991 he played a stand out role in "Thelma and Louise" as a hitchhiker who meets Geena Davis's character.

Just months after the photo Priestley show to stardom by featuring in the hugely popular Beverly Hills 90210.

Incidentally, on that day in January 28, 1990, Pitt and Priestley watched new head coach, George Seifert, lead the San Francisco 49ers to their second straight Super Bowl Title. They slaughtered Dan Reeves' Denver Broncos 55-10 at the Louisiana Superdome in New Orleans.

John Elway, Vance Johnson and the Broncos lost for the 3rd time in 4 years, while the 49ers tied the Steelers' record 4 Super Bowl victories, with the Super Bowl 24 win.
