Brandi Glanville 'Excited' About Book Becoming Movie?

New York Times bestselling author Brandi Glanville may have more to celebrate in coming months as a new report claims her new book "Drinking and Tweeting: And Other Brandi Blunders" is set to become a movie.

Glanville, 40, took to Twitter on Tuesday where she shared her excitement about the prospect of turning her explosive book into a film. While some critics assumed she was joking, a source claims she was not.

"Omg just had a talk about turning my book in2 a movie! Maybe we should pitch it to Lifetime An unromantic comedy! #pinchme," Brandi tweeted Feb. 26.

In the book, the single mom shares details about her failed marriage to actor Eddie Cibrian, particularly his infamous affair with troubled singer LeAnn Rimes. Despite allegedly receiving threats of a lawsuit from Cibrian, who is said to be unhappy about the book's content, Glanville is said to be in favor of the book being turned into a film.

"A lot of people thought Brandi was sort of joking in her tweet about the movie, but she wasn't! She's already had several meetings about making her book into a movie," a source told RadarOnline.com.

"She's really excited about this. The biggest compliment an author can get is having their book made into a movie," the source added.

While the movie report is good news for Glanville, critics are said to be concerned that it could potentially push Rimes, who is said to be emotionally fragile over the book, over the edge.

"Turning this book into a movie is enough to send LeAnn over the edge," the source said. "Not only does LeAnn not want the book's details splashed on a movie screen, but Brandi's success is really what's driving her nuts. She's absolutely green with envy."

Cibrian, 41, reportedly had multiple extramarital affairs throughout his 8-year marriage to Glanville, including one with 27-year-old reality TV star 27-year-old Scheana Marie, who recently claimed having another affair with the actor during his relationship with Rimes,30.

"This is bringing out LeAnn's nagging fears about Eddie that one woman isn't enough," a source previously said regarding Glanville's book. "Does it bother her? Of course, no woman would want to read these things about her husband."

Rimes checked into rehab back in 2012, with her representative claiming she was suffering from stress and anxiety.

"Everyone around LeAnn can see how much she struggles. She has body issues and worries Eddie [Cibrian] will cheat," a source reportedly told Life & Style magazine. "Friends and family are constantly worried she's going to fall apart again if she doesn't get help."
