Brandi Glanville: 'I Support' LeAnn Rimes Seeking Treatment

"Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" star Brandi Glanville has spoken out regarding LeAnn Rimes' decision to seek professional help following the singer's emotional breakdown.

The reality TV star has been engaged in an infamous feud with Rimes, who had an affair with Eddie Cibrian while he was married to Glanville in 2009. It now appears that Glanville is moving on and bears no ill will toward the singer.

"I totally support LeAnn's decision to enter rehab- my top priority is my children, and at the end of the day we are a family," Glanville said in a statement to Us magazine on Thursday. "LeAnn is their step mom, and they love her. I am wishing her all the best and I hope she will find what she is looking for while in rehab."

Glanville and Cibrian, both 39, share two children together: Mason, 9, and Jake, 5. Despite previously complaining that Rimes, 30, was an "overbearing" stepmom, she seems to have changed her views on the singer.

The reality TV star was left heartbroken when Cibrian left her for Rimes, 30, after meeting the singer on the set of "Northern Lights" in 2009. As a result of the affair, Rimes has endured years of abuse by various Twitter followers, which reportedly led to an emotional breakdown and prompted her to seek treatment.

"LeAnn has voluntarily entered a 30 day in-patient treatment facility to cope with anxiety and stress," Rimes' representative, Marcel Pariseau, told People magazine in a statement. "While there will be speculation regarding her treatment, she is simply there to learn and develop coping mechanisms. While privacy isn't expected, it's certainly appreciated."

Despite widespread assertions that the ongoing Twitter abuse is to blame for Rimes' emotional breakdown, new reports suggest that it was actually Rimes' suspicions that Cibrian has been having an affair which triggered her meltdown.

"LeAnn is beyond stressed about the cracks in her relationship with Eddie and she has been really scared that he is cheating on her," a source told RadarOnline.com.

"LeAnn called a friend of hers a few weeks ago sobbing hysterically about Eddie going out. She was home for the weekend and he didn't stay in with her and she was crying saying that she was so worried about what he was doing when he wasn't with her," the source went on.

Rimes has yet to address reports of infidelity, although Cibrian released a statement regarding her admission into rehab and insisted that he will stand by her during this difficult time.
