Following her split from Jason Trawick, Britney Spears is now dating a new man whom she spent Valentine's Day with.

Britney Spears may have already moved past her split engagement from former talent manager, Jason Trawick. The "Hold it Against Me" singer was spotted having a romantic Valentine's Day dinner last week with a mystery man who has now been identified as an "average guy."

David is a field researcher for a law firm in Atlanta, according to TMZ. The couple allegedly met through friends and spent the weekend golfing together. Titled a "jack-of-all-trades" the gossip site said, "he's definitely not a wealthy guy."

Pictures of the couple spending a day on the greens were taken at the Sherwood Country Club where Britney lives.

"He's a big golfer and he's teaching her the moves," a source told TMZ. "Britney has actually taken a liking to golf and is thinking about becoming a member of the country club."

Reps for the star have yet to confirm whether or not the couple is dating, although they spent Valentines over a sushi dinner. Reps remained secretive about the "mystery date."

The singer has of late, taken a more humble approach all around to living. Over the weekend she was spotted picking up groceries off of her list that included: ginger ale, tomatoes, Lunchables, ham, orange juice, 2% milk, Smart popcorn, bread and chicken. Her attire was "Kate Gosselin soccer mom chic," according to TMZ.

Whether or not Spears takes a "down to earth approach," she was still named the top earning female entertainer last year following her stint on the "X-Factor."

In addition to scoring a number one hit with "Scream and Shout" the singer earned over $58 million.
