Britney Spears Getting Engaged to Former Agent Next Month?

Britney Spears is dating her former agent Jason Trawick for several years now, and there are recent rumors that they could be tying the knot soon.

A source told Radar that Trawick will be with Britney on her latest tour in promotion for her new album, Femme Fatale, and afterwards, it is likely he will finally propose.

“Jason is planning on taking Britney on a secluded getaway once the tour wraps, and it's very likely he will pop the question at that time,” said Radar’s source.

The South American tour ends Dec. 10, so that places the special proposal date somewhere around the end of the year.

Spears and Trawick seem to be in love, as they are spotted together often. Radar’s source alleged that the power couple talks about marriage frequently, so it is only natural that they take the next step and start their lives together.

“Britney and Jason discuss marriage all the time. Britney is truly in love with Jason, and well, Jason has loved her for a very, very long time,” the source explained.

Love may not be enough to unite to two, however.

Due to the craziness that took place in Britney’s last marriage, the pop star is under a conservatorship. In other words, she is not allowed to make legal, financial, or medical decisions for herself.

That, of course, includes marriage.

There is a way around it though. Technically, engagement does not require legal consent by a judge, so Trawick putting a ring on her finger would be fine. After that, the two would have to apply to court for the conservatorship to be over. Spears was placed in the care of her father, so there is a good chance that could happen, according to the source.

"When Britney does get engaged, her father's attorneys will notify the judge in her conservatorship case. It's extremely within the realm of possibility that the conservatorship will end, and then Britney will get married. It will be a very smooth transition," the source explained.
