However, Spears, who says her new music is emerging "slowly but surely," has been busy in the recording studio since September last year, churning out new material in between shows. According to her manager, Larry Rudolph, the singer is concentrating on recording singles, but will get on to production on her next album soon.

Meanwhile, speculations have emerged the English girl group, Little Mix, has penned a song Spears is going to use for her collaboration with "Fancy" artist Iggy Azalea. The single, "Pretty Girls," was written for Little's Mix's upcoming album until they weeded it out at the last moment. Spears is said to have taken a liking to the song, and is reportedly planning to unveil the single as her collaboration with Azalea within the next few weeks.

According to the Australian rapper's Twitter feed, Spears is making "epic plans" for "Pretty Girls," which the pop singer is preparing to use as the lead song in her ninth album. Azalea posted their collaboration may be released as a single at the beginning of 2016.
